Kundalini Yoga : Rakhe Rakhanhar, mantra for (self) compassion

Saturday we practiced Rakhe Rakhanhar Mantra Meditation with my KRI teacher and tears rose to my eyes, melting some of my armours, and allowing some old childhood memory to bubble up from my subconscious mind (that's what Mantras and Practice do for us, help release with the vibrations of sound movement and breath). I saw myself as an 8 year old child in a Summer Camp, feeling very lonely. Somehow I had stored that feeling into my aura, it was nested in my field. This Mantra allowed it to reveal.

Rakhay rakhanhaar aap ubaariun

Gur kee pairee paa-eh kaaj savaariun

Hoaa aap dayaal manho na visaariun

Saadh janaa kai sung bhavjal taariun

Saakat nindak dusht khin maa-eh bidaariun

Tis Saahib kee tayk naanak manai maa-eh

Jis simrat sukh ho-eh saglay dookh jaa-eh

Jis simrat sukh ho-eh saglay dookh jaa-eh

It is a mantra for complete protection which adds energy to one’s being, and helps when you are physically weak or have limited wealth. It does away with the obstacles to fulfilling one’s destiny. Chanting this mantra helps against fluctuations of the mind. It clears the way for happiness to enter your life by removing sorrow and pain from your heart

Rakhe Rakhan Har is included in the Aquarian Sadhana and is done as a part of the daily practice in the morning meditations for Kundalini Yoga practitioners. The Aquarian Sadhana mantras are powerful mantras that can be recited at any time of the day or night.

The theme of Loneliness is still around and I am planning to work on it with this mantra, and in another way. I might use this short KRYA that helps clean the field of old trauma -because this emotion is asking to be looked at since a few weeks (it also came up during a hypnosis-meditation the other day).
